Dominique Gilliot

At the junction of pop-culture and pop-philosophy, Dominique Gilliot is developing a body of work that deconstructs many codes and values usually taken for granted, with a sense of humour and poetry. A graduate of the Cergy-Pontoise Beaux Arts and a post-graduate of the Lyon Beaux Arts, Dominique Gilliot has performed in numerous contemporary art venues in France (Centre Pompidou Paris, Frac île-de-France, Ferme du Buisson, Jeu de Paume, Subsistances in Lyon, Friche de la Belle de Mai in Marseille, Parc Saint Léger) and internationally (Brussels, Mudam in Luxembourg, Human Resources and Machine Project in Los Angeles, Pinacoteca in São Paulo). In recent years, her performance practice has shifted to live shows. She became an associate artist at the Ménagerie de Verre in 2019.
